The name Turtle Island is a symbol of many of the indigenous peoples of North and Central America and refers to the creation of the lands that we know today. As a certified diverse Indigenous supplier, Turtle Island Technology Solutions Inc offers a unique perspective that sets us apart. Michael Hebert
Michael, founder of Turtle Island Technology Solutions Inc., has over 24 years of experience in IT, spanning technical roles and leadership positions with global and national systems integrators. He excels in delivering innovative, cloud-based solutions while prioritizing cybersecurity and business outcomes. His strong connections with industry leaders ensure his clients receive exceptional service. Proudly Cree, Michael is deeply committed to his community and culture, which guides his work. Turtle Island Technology Solutions is based on the Millbrook First Nation in Nova Scotia. Michael resides in Halifax.
Garnet Belik
Garnet Belik is the Vice President of Business Development. Garnet leverages his extensive experience in sales and strategic partnerships to drive growth and innovation. With a career spanning over two decades, Garnet has a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and forging million-dollar partnerships with top consulting firms. His expertise in Salesforce CRM, DevOps, and Netsuite ERP, combined with his skills in team alignment, facilitation, and customized training, makes him a dynamic leader in the Tech industry. Garnet has a passion for helping teams overcome obstacles and achieve their best work. Garnet brings a strategic, results-driven approach to every project. Garnet resides in the GTA.
Abbey Colosimo
Abbey Colosimo is the Business Development Manager where she plays a key role in driving growth and building strong client relationships. With over seven years of experience in business development and sales, Abbey brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Before joining Turtle Island Tech, she excelled at SecurityScorecard, where she held various business development positions, including Enterprise and Mid-Market Business Development. Her previous experiences helped her hone her skills in account management and franchise development. Abbey holds a background in Public Health from Brock University and has completed certifications in Customer Success Management and Sales Techniques. Abbey resides in the GTA.
